Emeraude Toubia is a Canadian Actress who is best known as a main character in the Freeform Fantasy series Shadowhunters as well as Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda & Voltea pa' que te enamores. She is also an accomplished performer and model. She is a native of Montreal However, she was raised and attended school in Texas. Her passion for performing has been with her since the age of a child. When she was a young girl she began to learn various forms of dance. When she was 15, she was a contestant in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained a lot of attention in 2008 as she appeared in Season 2 of the Univision beauty pageant program Nuestra Belleza Latina. In 2010, she was the receptionist for Telemundo television show Aurora. Toubia was a part of Tattooed Love (2015), an action movie.
