Reese Witherspoon started seriously pursuing an acting career when she was enrolled at Stanford University. After her first few performances, she was cast in films like Pleasantville as well as Election. Also, she was a character on The Dictator (1998) and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone (2006). A talented painter, she has been featured in a number of galleries.
